Delicious cakes, nice service, currently moving to the same property, will be great! After completed move to the new pottery cafe on the estate Schmerwitz very stylish and comfortable. I look forward to the spring / summer with serving on terrace in the outdoor area.

First address in the area for coffee and cake. Currently only to take away. With a shop full of beautiful things from the Royal Blue Pottery.

We were here again after years. Everything made chic, hardly recognizable to us. However, we found the rustic at that time much more comfortable. It's too sterile for us, more like a tourist magnet. The prices were of course noticeably revised upwards. But it's a good cause.

Super delicious coffee and especially the cake. You can tell immediately that this is still handmade and not mass-produced, as is the case with most cafés

Very good cake, cappuccino good strong. Leather, the acoustics in the new large room are catastrophic. Further in a station hall. It's a shame actually.

Very nice ambience, nice people, delicious cakes. You can also admire great pottery art and of course buy at fair prices.

The pottery café belongs to Gut Schmerwitz, which has much more to offer than pottery. The café is right next to the pottery, so you can "stroll". As a building, it is beautifully situated and surrounded by greenery. As a room, it impresses with the modernity of the furnishings and the simultaneous reference to the old. So all wood is kept in natural tones or white, but you can just see the bracing. The lamps above the tables and on the pillars have light bulbs, but with filament LEDs. The doors are mostly old in appearance, but modern in technology. And so it runs through the entire design concept: old and modern at the same time. The cakes have been extremely good in the temporary or transitional quarters before. And they are today too. The easy access to the pottery sales room and (on some days) to the workshop make this not only eponymous, but also part of the experience of the café. This, the view through the many windows and the cake make a visit always worthwhile. Unfortunately there are also a few shadows: Due to the hard floor and the fact that there are practically no acoustic barriers in the guest room, it is very echoing. Since its size offers enough space for larger groups, the sound level is often unbearable. So nicely done the renovation and so interesting e.g. The exposed roof stalls are so sad that wood was apparently used, which was dried too quickly or not cheaply: practically everywhere there are very deep and long cracks in the beams, even in the window frames. This raises the fear that damage and repairs can be expected soon. It's a shame because it makes the beautiful contrast between old and new exaggerated. At least that's my personal perception. If you've enjoyed the great cake and the weather is right, then you should visit the small Wasserkirche nearby. And otherwise the landscape around the café is very beautiful. If the weather is not right, there are other buildings on the Schmerwitz estate that have been renovated and are interesting to see, as far as we have been able to see so far, even throughout. At least the farm shop with its own organic products is definitely worth a visit. It's right next to the café.

Friendly service & lovely, freshly renovated space. The hearty and healthy food was delicious. It was the perfect place to stop on our hike from Bad Belzig. Highly recommend the almond cheesecake! It was amaaaaazing 👍👍

a wonderful place, which is operated with great attention to detail. A great coffee with an incredible range of cakes and other delicious food and drinks. That's why schmellwitz is worth a visit and many tourists come back again and again. Next to the café there is also a pottery, where you can buy products of the famous royal blue.

Everything reconstructed. It was a very pleasant stay. I was there as part of the outing of Brandenburg.

We really liked it here. Super friendly staff, the cake is great and the coffee tasted delicious. Unfortunately, the farm shop was closed, but we bought something from the pottery shop. The only thing that disturbed us is that there are hardly any shady places to sit outside. Almost the entire courtyard is paved.

Very well maintained facility

The cake was delicious, but the staff completely overwhelmed and not customer-oriented. Behind the counter were three employees, all of whom worked without a system and passed their mood on to the customers, sad! I sometimes ordered a hot chocolate, this was first accepted, then it was said 5 minutes later, there's no. Another employee said that there was enough cocoa powder and he would do it because the machine already made the hot milk anyway. The other two behind the counter said then, there's no, we have no time, he should take something else! Happy customers are apparently not desired ... I will definitely not eat a cake here!

The café offers delicious homemade cakes. Today there were cheesecake in many variations. For my taste, however, the sugar content could have been significantly reduced. The guest room is spacious and comfortably staged with lots of wood. In nice weather you can sit outside. Unfortunately, there are always cars on and off. The courtyard is at the same time parking. With a visit to the nearby pottery and a walk in the area you can spend a nice afternoon here.

Nice cafe in an old church. Smoke and alcohol free. Top cakes and kitchen, run by residents of an addiction support facility. An absolute recommendation.

One of the best addresses for cafés and cakes. The area is great for hiking. Then relax in the garden of the potter's café and have a bite to eat. Great. The café is located in the village church.
